Gridiron Painter - USC Trojan First Look
 

Over a year ago I ordered my first Jennings figures. I can create decent looking figures using decals, etc but knew I couldn't do these guys justice. Everyone has seen on this board, those figures can open a whole new level of realism when it comes to shading, etc.

Here's a sneak peek at 2 of the USC Trojans (all-time roster, 1970's uniform - this is Palmer and Carrier) that Gridiron Painter (Michael Winegarden) is making for me using Jennings figures. We've all seen (and salivated) at his work and for me, this is a deadly combination of talent coming together in both the original figure design, Michael's customizing via scalping, and his unbelievable artistry.

Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how much of a pleasure it has been to work with him. His communication and updating is awesome and that isn't always the case in this hobby unfortunately.

In the business world, there's a saying that you get what you pay for. His prices are probably higher than most (you can ask him directly for a quote I'm sure if you want some) but when you look at the countless hours he spends in ensuring every detail is rock solid perfect - it becomes a bargain in the end.
