Sudden collapse
 

Here's a new one, at least for me. I'm in the middle of a game, and suddenly I notice that one of my linemen is leaning. I pick him up and look at the prongs, and the 2 in the front left corner are collapsed, bent over, tucked under..... ka-put! I've had teams for over 35 years, played lots of games and never have I seen this happen. Now you have to remember that I don't tweak my bases, at least not by much. No squeezing and flattening the prongs, just a gentle touch here and there to get them to go more or less where I want them to go. No excessive weights are added, all my teams are 3.2 or less. I'm at a loss as to why this happened. I tried CPR and mouth to mouth, but alas, the prongs just didn't want to repsond. I had to pull the plug and call it dead.

Anyone else have this happen to them? Standard Miggle rookie base, untweaked, just a BB for weight, working fine for 3 quarters then the prongs go limp???? ARRGGHHH.... :rnt; :rnt; :rnt; :rnt; :rnt; :rnt; :rnt;

Never had a problem going limp! :D

Al, I have a friend in the CIA, he told me you are the second coach to be attacked,the other is a guy named Haskel Boggs, a pearl diver from Utah.
He claims they got his whole offensive line in one night. A neighbor got a look at one of them and described him as an olive colored man wearing a Tunic with a Raiders patch on the back and high top cleats.According to my source they believe these attacks could be the work of mid east groups who are motivated by Allah's ban of anything that vibrates.
I have a new watch dog and shotgun,I suggest all members tighten their security....you could be next!
