French invasion : New articles on MFCA.org

Hi,

Today I made 4 (!) new articles for french beginners. I discovered that in France there is some interest for miniature football, but the language barrier is often a big issue for people.

So I created 4 articles for basic knowledge :

figures and base explanation :

http://miniaturefootball.org/2010/08...sir-ses-bases/

http://miniaturefootball.org/2010/08...-et-les-bases/

basic tweaking :

http://miniaturefootball.org/2010/08...rial-tweaking/

passing simulation :

On all these articles, I name some brands (buzball and miggle, mainly) and added links to their internet eshops or ebay shops, or their tutorials (buzzball video tutorials). I hope there is no problem with that. If it's a problem, the administrator will clean up the things :D

Speaking of the administrator, perhaps he should add a "miniature football en français" category in the future, for better referencing ? I don't know.

Next step :

add a figurines brands guide, and the biggest work planned before the end of the year : MFCA bacis ruleset translation

"E viva espana ! Hum, I mean "Et vive la France" ! :rtfl:

Fantastic job....I can only guess what the articles say, but I am proud and excited to see the growing interest of MF in Europe! We just had our first first forum user from Belgium sign on and with Cookie from Germany and with the other French users there is a foundation forming. The one thing I know about Europeans, having spent some time there is; once they start something like this, they go all out and it will not be long before there will need to be a World MFCA Championship!

Keep the articles coming in French or English! The great thing about Google is you can translate full pages by just entering the URL in the translation box. http://translate.google.com You can go from just about any language to another.

I did this to the pages and all though it is not a perfect translation, I get a clear picture of what is written.

Best in any language

I can't read French, but that looks like the most concise and thorough article I have seen in any language. You covered everything in one place, and really make a clear example of the various aspects. That is truly excellent.

You're right. I'm also preparing a new french article, on how to learn from the english articles and forum topics, with certainly a little glossary or something like that, and the method to use google page translation.

I also noticed that some websites 's got an automatic translation tool, using the google (or other one) translation engine. Does wordpress contains that particular tool ?

Fixed the Electric Gridiron link. Buzzbal's site is currently down but if you Google "Buzzball electric football" you can find their Facebook page and links to some of their products.

I also linked Buzzball ebay shop on my "bases choice : how to" article thmbsp$
