Nike Combat- Bosie and VT
 

Following Monday night's classic game between Bosie State and Virgina Tech, I started working on these teams. Don't usually post any pics till I am done but thought this would be a good oportunity to see how my teams come along and maybe a Trek Tip here and there.

Va Tech in the flat black will give me another opportunity to use some of my favorite paints, the clear acrylics.

Progress- Clear orange applied to Nike Combat VT. Looks great. I used a pearl white for Bosie's jerseys and added a touch of grey like the game jerseys. Will re-do helemets though with a darker metallic blue. Be nice to do the helemt decal for this team, making decals not my area. May give it a try; check out that Bosie Helmet! Sweet....

When I start a college league, i'll do these uni's too. VT is going to be hard to put all those little x's and O's in between the orange numbers and helmet stripe, that was crazy lookin:eeeek:

Last update on these teams. I found some old stickers and decals laying around... always keep this stuff; never know when they may come in handy.
