The MFCA needs renewals just as much....

as new sign ups!!!!!!! So get those renewal fees in. You don't want to miss this upcoming issue of the Tweak! Loaded with photos and stories from the MFCA convention 3.

Another way to promote your fav hobby/sport/past time.....post links to your facebook page!
Visit our front page miniaturefootball.org you can share any story via a link with just the click of your mouse.
Local & neighborhood papers are always looking for a new story or something outside the box. Email the reporter direct. Make sure you add some photos, they most likely will email you back!

Without looking thru your old mags.......can you name the original dirty dozen of the mfca?

In the early issues, what were you looking for in the find it contest?

Who was the first coach to be featured on the cover of the Tweak?

What was your fav cover and or issue?

How many Tweak mags have been printed thus far?

corEy, i still have to renew this month. but, i only have gotten 1 tweak magazine, what is the scoop on that?
i plan on renewing in a few days, but i really wanted to collect all the tweak mags, well, someone let me know about the magazine, do i need the upgraded renewel , or does the basic one come with the tweak. thanks.

Mark, the basic membership has the downloadable PDF files for the magazine. For your inital sign up, you get 1 copy of the latest Tweak. If you want the actual paper version all the time, then you need to sign up for the gold membership. Them suckers are expensive to print when you are only doing a few hundred. If we had several thousand members, I'm sure the costs would be about half as much.

The basic membership at $20 per year could in no way support the cost of a printed magazine. The cost of the magazine to print and mail keeps going up! Our cost per issue was just under $9.00 each on the Summer issue. The Fall issue, which is at the printers right now, went up to $9.50 so that we are again losing money with every magazine we print. Unfortunately, the magazine may next year, be only available as a pdf unless guys are willing to pay close to $10 per issue. This would bring the membership up to $60.00 a year with the printed magazine. That is a $5.00 increase from last years Gold memberships of $55. Besides raising the membership costs our other option would be to reduce the size or pages of the magazine.

Also, we no longer send out a free edition to new sign ups. Stopped that last year.

The MFCA gives us a great platform to share in the hobby together, I am very thankful for that! I'm going to renew with the 5 year membership.

The cost increase wouldn't happen till March 2011 if we go that route. It just depends on how important the printed magazine is to the membership at its current size or if a smaller version or less pages (30 instead of 40) would do the trick for the same costs as current.
