Super Prolines?

What is the Review on the Miggle Super Prolines?

Oh God! This brings back some memories!

that was a cryptic and vague response...

if this has been discussed in another thread could you direct me to some answers?

thanks

Believe it or not the thread that Shabby is having nightmares about actually created some controversy on here and involved a member who was eventually banned for comments made to others on this subject and others. Here is that thread. http://www.miniaturefootball.com/for...super+prolines

My personal experience with them is that they are a good base and with the right kind of tweaking can perform really well. I don't think they rate up with First Runs, but you can't find first runs easily any more. My best luck was with using a directly heated pliers and I was able to get pretty decent strength that rivaled some first run prolines that I had tweaked by some of the "experts" for comparison tests.

Yes my answer was cryptic and vague, no disrespect intended to your question.

The super prolines do rival the first runs that are so highly sought after. They are very close if tweaked properly, they are not superior, but they are the closest thing to the first run prolines you will find for strength.

Wolf mentioned tweaking them for strength using heated pliers, this provides excellent results, nice creamy smooth and wide prongs.

They are very good strength bases.

Even if you do not heat the pliers they tweak nicely, but for maximum strength heated pliers will bring out the best in them.

thanks. I now understand

The super pro-lines tweak up nicely and with a little bit of patience can play on any competetive team. I just tweaked up about a dozen and they perform well against the older pro-lines. A candle warmer helps tremendously.

SUPER PROLINES

My tweaking with these for about 2 month and aprox 60 bases has found the following for these bases.

1. for the best power you have to use heated pliers and hit the prongs with them and then curl the prongs alittle bit. if you over curl you lose alot of power with these... they are very tricky to find just the right spot.. but when you do they will hold up with the best of them

2. they make great linebacker bases by tweeking them WITHOUT using heat, just normal tweek and alittle curl and they get medium strong but still keep some speed.

3. if you use no heat on the pliers , gently squeeze the prongs, then FLASH them you can get pretty good speed for a safty position type player... not the fastest around, but a very stable platform for a hard to balance figure.

hope that helps out alittle.

Yep...heated pliers is the answer. They still can't beat well-tweaked 1st run Prolines though....and that is really frustrating at times!
