OAKLAND RAIDERS AT BALTIMORE RAVENS

RECAP- It took a few years for the Raiders to make it back to the post season and it didn’t last long as the Baltimore Ravens pounded Oakland 23-7 before a sellout crowd in Baltimore. The Ravens defense smothered the Raiders all night and their power running attack of Ray Rice and Jamaal Lewis were relentless each scoring a TD. The Raven’s defense also put up points when DB Leron Landry picked off a errant Ken Stabler pass and ran it back 26 yds to put the icing on the cake. The Raiders lone score came on a beautiful 26 yd TD run by Bo Jackson midway through the 4th quarter. Baltimore with it’s victory tonight wins the first of 2 wildcard spots and gains the #5 seed and will travel to Milwaukee next week to take on their division rivals.
