Reginald, when you embbed a youtube video on the forum, you can make the window bigger :

in the embedded code, search for size informations : object width="320" height ="240" or something like that. The same size infos are available for fullscreen mode also (end of the embedded code).

Just modify the numbers with the native resolution you use for you video. You can see on the video demo I made about passing simulation, that I've been able to adapt the window size to my native resolution.

To be more specific, I used a 600px width instead of native 640px, because when you put your video on youtube, you loose some quality.

So finally, we'll be able to watch your vid in a size more matching the way you (I believe) wanted us to watch. thmbsp$

Down below the lower right side under the word Youtube, you can widen the screen by double clicking that button. I make it small because the resolution gets distorted/pixelation distortion.

So at the smaller size, it is more clear but it can be enlarged by the viewer by simply double clicking on the 4 arrows.

THat's what I call a big window :D

Since youtube reencode the video, I would keep a reasonable size, around 600px, wich is also a good size for forums.

On my video I used :

object width="600" height="480"

and

allowfullscreen="true" width="600" height="480"





Normal size :




It keeps a decent quality, especially with the 480p feature.

I believe in the future I 'll give a try on Vimeo. Perhaps less audience, but the quality is great (see Jeff Eby's HD vids, incredible even in full screen);

how is one not supposed to get a little excited after watching that?
