Mike Robertson (0-1) 2009 CBSMF semi-final game 3. Norbert Revels (0-2) 2009 Miggle Round Robin and Conference Championship Game. These games were 4 plays each - never played a full game 4. Keith Chalmers (0 - 2) 2009 Beltsville Bash Green room rumble Championship game and 2010 NEFL regular season game 5.Kelvin Lomax (0-1) 2009 NEFL Regular Season Game That is a pretty presitigious list - all in the Top 13 of your Top 50 Coaches list. Uh oh!
Suddenly I feel so hunted. mgngcrz
I am fortunate to have been on the circuit a lot back in the early to mid part of the decade so I had a chance to play MANY coaches. Even those I lost to I still had a chance to replay them later and rebound from that loss. However, there are three individuals that I have lost to and never beat. 1. James Crews - We played twice in the first year of the Harrisburg Pro League and he beat me both times. I never had the chance to play him again. 2. Ron Bell - I lost to Ron in the AFC Championship Game at Miggle back in Canton in 2001. Never had a chance to play him again but I am waiting. Tic Toc, tic toc. 3. Adrian Baxter - Lost to him at the final Buzzfest. He thinks I did it purposely but he obviously doesn't know me very well. I might lose a regular season game, a playoff game or an early round tournament game on purpose but I NEVER lose a Championship game on purpose. NEVER! 4. Norbert - Lost to him 7-0 in a Summer Slam game many years back. Never got the chance to play him again. I'm sure I will sometime. I can't think of any other guys that I never beat BUT I'm sure if there are some out there they'll let me know!! lffng$ RAIDERMAN |
Good question ... in no particular order:
Tom Johnson - Lost to him in the final of the MEFA College League many, many years ago. Still bugs me. Marc Thompson - Lost to him in the semifinals of the Summer Slam quite a few years ago. Haven't seen him or heard his name in a while. COReY Johnson - Never figured out his defensive schemes. Always had trouble in the passing game against that cat, and that was back when all I did was pass ... you figure it out. Al Kyle - Safety Dance. (The PA crew, especially Pratt, will get that reference). Keith Chalmers - Heck, I'd like just to get within 20 points and put a W in the moral victory stack. Ed wnnrcgr shkthbx: $br# |
Top 5 Never Beat
Greg H - Only played him once - it wasn't pretty. Great coach.
Ron B - Only played him in a 4 play elim round at Miggle in the final 8 Jimmy D - Only played him once - he beat me on the second to last play of OT. Jim is an awesome guy to play - had a blast. Lomax - Only played him once - lost in the Buzzfest semis. Great running game and fun coach to match X's and O's against. Don Smith - Only played him once - in the semifinals of the Minneapolis tourney - was a shootout...he had one of the best running plays I've seen in the hobby. |
