does anyone ever take out an old Tudor rules booklet, and refresh yourself on the rules of the 60's and 70's , then play a game using those old rules. i do it once or twice a year. to tell the truth, i often dont change a whole lot from those original rules except for the running game. i do ad in audibles for O and then for D. makes it simpler and faster to enjoy a game. ah the old days of the 70's using hogleg figures, its the bees knees Yo.

Yes, I have rule books from 1959, 1968/69, 1969/70, and a Munro rule book from 1971. It is interesting to see how even these early rule books have changed from what we have today.

My Classic Tudor Solitaire League is based on using these rule books. That why I have gone back to using the TTQB for passing and, yes, even kicking(rather than my kicking cards).

Sometimes the less it is tweaked the better the game.

I enjoy them all

I agree, these custom figures and custom hot rodded fields are nice, but I love the pure fun I get with two Fab 5 iron man teams squaring off against each other on a vintage 620.

I play all my solitaire like that using the original rules.
