From one Champion to another...Congrats B-Nutt!

I wanted to post a personal message to congradulate Brian Nutt on an outstanding performance. I felt it my duty and responsibility as the most successful coach under the TSO style system to let the world know how huge of an accomplishment this is for B-Nutt and how good of a player this guy actually is.

It is extremely important for the coaches around the country to understand that the TSO is not designed to make sure that the area coaches always win. Mr. Rutledge and the TSO committee took a huge step in 2007 to change the format so that the coaches who had not been familiar with the TSO style rules had an equal shot at the title and in year one it proved to be a more than effective format! So if you think you're one of the elite coaches around the country, prove it just as B-nutt did and come to the 2008 Texas Shootout! The only tournament around the country that puts all of the coaches, regardless of the experience level under the tournament style on the same playing field!

B-nutt is a class guy! I enjoyed his presence at the shootout and look forward to his return in 2008. He is a more than deserving champion!

My promise to the EFL community is that I will attend 2 national events this upcoming year. The Seawall Brawl is one of them. Your help with choosing another tournament that will allow me to use FF.com figures would be great!

Once again congrats to B-nutt! This is your time sir, you are truly in the zone!

Nice touch Michael...

I just want everyone to know what a class act Michael Robertson is too! He's a well respected champion of the great DFW league who embraces fellowship and has a great positive vibe about him. You seem to compete to win, but play to have fun which is the "right" combination in my book. Michael- your presence at the tournament was felt all the way from your enthusiam and welcoming spirit to the way you compete as a champion. My personal thanks to you also for sharing many tips ranging from passing to how you run your west coast style of offense.

thanks Michael

Thanks Michael for those kind words. Thanks for explaining the rules for all of the out-of-towners. If you are looking for another tournament, how about the Bama Blast on the first weekend of June? I know that you have won that one before and we'd love to have you back.
