MFCA South West Region Skills Champions
5 Attachment(s)
It was a wild time and things ran a little long so we had to work hard and squeeze in the events but all MFCA members that wanted to compete hopefully had a chance to do so.
Here are the winners of the MFCA South West Region Passing with a score of 230 were Corey Johnson and Michael Robertson. The tiebreaker went to Michael Robertson. (I believe that is the national high tied with Don Smith and Kelvin Lomax. Somebody correct me if I am wrong) Kicking also went to Michael Robertson, Texas with a perfect score of 300 Fastest Man went to Gerald Fulton, Philadelphia Fastest Man Enhanced (over 3.2) went to Bryan Nutt, South Carolina Strongest Man went to Flynt Hendricks, Kansas Strongest Man Enhanced (over 3.2) Kevin Bodie (pronounced Body...not Bo-D-Ay), Maryland Congratulations to all the deserving winners. |
You might find this funny......
Flynt and I drew numbers that pitted us against each other in the first face off of the Strong man competition. And he squished me like a grape. It will be hard living at my house for a while as he also beat me in the prelims........:o
Just thought I would share thet with you all. Geno H |
Nice work both Father and son
Geno, you and Flint both had some amazing Power. I played you both and I couldn't believe how well your teams could push. Nice work to the both of you on tweaking up those lineman for power. (I forgot to get a few of them F5 bases from you before I left.)
I could definately use a nose guard that had the kind of power you possesed. Again, congrats to Flint on the power skills test win! |
I was close, but that only counts
when throwing grenades & horse shoes. I would have won the passing, but after Wolf aka Peter Parker, flashed my eyes with his camera, I couldn't see anything. I was 2 for 2, then poof, he takes a picture. I miss all the other targets and get outscored my Mike.
The strength contest was no contest. I did make it to the finals versus Flint, but his guy was an animal. I can't wait to see all the winners lock horns in the Nationals. I need to win one of these regionals to qualify. I didn't enter any of the other challenges, I was sleeping. NATIONAL |
Thank You for the kind words! Michigan Joe
Joe the Texas Shootout was a great place for me to give the F-5 the ultimate test. I think the verdict is clear the Tornado Alley F-5 base can play Miniature Football. I would love to see the F-5 in the hands of some of the GREAT coachs. As they get more exposure I am confident it will happen.
