Breaks and no arms
Anyone out there have a good way of replacing missing arms?
|
I had a uncle lose a thumb once, sewed it right back on....so, I'd say Doctor
|
Good one
I figured someone would say something like that.
Serious, is it not worth the trouble? |
I'm not for sure bro, I know it can be down cause people making their on figures cut them off and then reattach them...so it can be down...

I usually find the same figure that I have not painted or from a team that I dont use and cut it at a joint or the shoulder with a hot exacto knife. Then I cut the broken figure at the same point, then I glue it back together and paint it to match the jersey or just the flesh , depending on where the cut is made. Just make sure to prop the figure on something to let the glue set properly and keep the arm in place.

One piece of equipment that I have found to be priceless when customizing is a jewelers saw. I found mine on ebay for under $14.00 with 144 blades. The cuts are so fine that they remove almost no plastic. Perfect for amputating arms, legs and even torsos. Here is just one from ebay but there are 100's

If I understand you right you are missing the arms from the figure as in they are gone. I have used the plastic tooth picks before and then cut a piece slightly larger than needed and form into the general shape with a little heat super glue on and then use a dremel or just sand paper to perfect the look.
