OK, Anthony Burgess and his new system requires passing with the TTQB be done from the coaches sideline. This is tough, I mean I am not great with the TTQB, but I have always played that when you are passing you can move around the board, from side to side and also directly behind the end zone to get a pass off.

How do most of you play, do you limit movement or do you allow behind the end zone passing?

Nothing against Anthony, by no means, it's just that when I read that rule and tried it, it was pretty difficult to do.

If you have a receiver open near you're sideline, the DB is on the inside of the receiver and is side dy side not touching, what is the best pass for this condition ? TTQB ? No you don't have the proper angle and the DB has position, however there is the out route open or fly route, lead the receiver. Pass Placement is best !

If you.re 2nd and goal from the 6 yard line, the defense has the right coverage called, but you think you can get the pass to you're receiver that is accross from you near the coner of the end zone, what is best for this condition, Pass Placement? No, the coverages is to tight, but you have a small window that you can use, use the TTQB to throw a bullet into tight coverage.

It is hard to do if you use the wrong type of pass for the passing conditions.

Why would the QB stand on the sideline to PASS?:confused: We allow the QB to move at any angle to throw the ball just like in NFL.

This is a hard rule to follow. It is limiting,but you have the use of pass placement sticks that you can manipulate 360 degrees around the receiver. He can slat, go long, short or come back! The clencher is, how fast are your receivers? Where is the defense? Should the QB keep it or dump it off? Make the right choice because the clock is ticking! The days of drinking a coke, 5minutes to set your TTQB, all other Shananagans are over! The more you practice at this style of play and don't deviate or alter the rules you began to see how everything comes together. WOW, I sat out this season ,but I absorbed a lot. I am forgetting the option of a TTQB bullet pass or the sticks for pass placement, your have more options this way and it is more realistic for the defense as well.

No Geno, it is you as a coach who has to stay on your sideline while you manipulate the TTQB to throw the pass. No more walking behind your endzone or to the other coaches sideline to make a TTQB pass.

but, when one uses the ttqb, don't they stop being "coach" for a moment and become the qb's eyes? i think that is what he is referring to.
