Does anyone make a "face" decal?

We have decal gloves, decal logos, decal shoes....has anyone come up with a decal to go under the facemask to give the player an expression. I think this would be absolutely cool as hell if we could come up with something. I have tried to paint expressions on the face before and I have had no luck. I am lucky to get the eyes painted on to where they don't just look like two little dots.

What do you guys say? Anybody out there offer this idea? How about it Beenutt and Megawatts...can it be done?

Just wondering....mgngcrz

Face Decals

It's been tried...by a few in this hobby, me included.

I use eye decals that were done by Mike Beal and those really add a lot.

To go beyond eyes, I've tried faces from websites, etc and they really end up looking very unnatural as they don't blend in with the skin paint, etc. There's probably a better "middle ground" out there to accomplish what you are seeking but as of now I haven't seen too much in terms of face decals beyond eyes.

Face Decals

Silverhorse,

Yes! I remember someone having face decals. They had the Green Bay Packers. They went to the team website and copied photos, then created decals for the figures. When I saw that, I said, "You guys have gone too far!" It was cool!

I Tried...

...to print faces off of the web and glue them under the facemasks on my Chicago RUSH, but there just wasn't any depth. It was 2D, not 3D, so I never used 'em. I still have the faces in my team box! rtfl$ I'll show ya one day.

Face decals would be so cool

I've never seen decalled faces, but it would be cool to see some sometime.

I know a guy in Lincoln, Nebraska that took the time to sculpt actual facial features onto Miggle figures, and those were awesome. He used tiny sculpting tools to carve out noses and chins, and eye sockets.

thmbsp$ AND: I just picked up the new NFL "Vibrating Football" game at JC Penney's this morning (50% off from 6am til 2pm) and the figures included in the game actually have facial features on them, already molded in. They are very impressive from a figure standpoint. They come with NO facemasks, but a person could always add those later. I got my game for about 53 bucks on sale, and can't wait to get the batteries required for some testing. sntht$
