EF Figure Measurements

1 Attachment(s)
I hope this is the appropriate forum for this question.

I have been reading several of the message boards, but I have not been able to find an adequate answer to this question. I am not an EF enthusiast, but I am designing a gameboard and miniatures for a "Rollerball" recreation based on the 1975 film. Without spending too much money to find out by trial and error, I have decided to use EF figures to recreate the teams. I understand the main differences between the "Big Men" variations, but my question is much simpler. I would like to know the average measurements for the various figures used in EF.

In particular, can anybody provide me average measures in centimeters or inches for:
Height, Width, dimensions of the base that the figure is mounted on (not the base that the player is clipped to, but the plastic that the feet are actually attached to) for
- Miggle's Unpainted Big Men available on their site.
- Miggle's ProLine figures available on their site.
- Buzzball's classic and current figures (if you have experience with them)
- FootballFigures.com's Stock and Custom players available on their site.

I am leaning toward using Miggle's Big Men because they appear to be very versatile. Anyone familiar with the film, please post painting suggestions as well. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I've attached a photo example from another game designer to give you all some idea of what I'm looking at.

I don't know "average" heights and such.. but here are maximum weight, length, height, and width specifications for figures in the NHFL

Maximum Weight 2.0 grams
Maximum Height 38mm or 1.5 inches
Maximum Length 33mm
Maximum Width 29mm

Hope this helps

If you're looking for the base dimensions, they are all the same so that they will fit all the bases. The dimensions are 24mm X 15mm X 1.5mm thick.thmbsp$

Thanks - more follow-up

Thanks. But, what is the difference between each of the various styles and "sizes" for the figures?

Distraction Man,
Great movie.Neat idea. Please post some pictures.
I loved the number "font' for the uniforms.I would
love to do a EF team using that number font. One
day,I shall.
May I make a suggestion.I'm not knocking anybody elses'
figures but the BuzzBall -DL,aka,Mr. Everything figure would
be a great figure/pose for this project.Great action pose ,looks
like he's skating.Just my opinion. You should be able to find
a few poses among the various types of figures to fill the bill
for your RollerBall teams.Great idea.I can't say enough about
the number fonts.Have fun.

Thanks for the suggestion. If you would like to see some more pictures, go to http://japenet.net/japenetgames.html
I used the picture I posted from his site. He is into gaming and modeling and has some awesome pics of his designs. I have written him a couple of times and he is really interesting. For some font ideas try this link:

Hope that helps. Thanks for the responses.

EF Measurements / Rollerball

The Circus Maximus / Ben-Hur track is awesome. Some of his ideas would be useful for the EF hobbyist to build a very unique EF stadium.

Thanks for the reply.

Roller Ball...

Welcome,

The dimensions for Buzzball and Football.com figures use to be on there sites. Please sse Coach Rip and Reggie rutledge for dimensions on their figures. This is a great concept. Also take a look at some of the many pictures of various teams. There are some figures that have been reconfigured to simulate more action pose that would also help in painting and reconfiguring your Roller Ball figures. Great movie, reminds me of Logan's Run. Good Luck@! You'll find lots of help herethmbsp$
P.S. You have got to talk with Damon Lucus: ForU2hate and Reginald Rutledge. With your creativity and theirs you guys could do many wonderful things together.drl$$
