Introduce kids to MF and the MFCA
 

I'm still taking baby steps learning all the new stuff with MF, but I have an
idea. Todays' youngsters are all hung up on video games/video football.
EA has taken advantage of that and, as all of us know, has the Madden
Challenge and it's broadcast on ESPN. In all honesty, when you play
Madden or any video football game how often do you SEE the play?
You see what's going on as far as what player you control, but you
don't see the line play, the secondary and linebacker reaction none of
that. When kids play the game they know how to manipulate it to
get results, but is it a real understanding of the game? I believe this
is where MF has an edge. It is a teaching tool to understanding offenses
and defenses as a whole rather than control of a player. Our game,
yes, OUR GAME, also teaches you how to use your hands ie. painting,
tweaking, building boards, graphic designs, even stadium building
are just some of the things. OUR GAME is "hands on". We communicate
with each other sharing ideas.

With this in mind, when I am fully acclamated my desire is to introduce
MF to kids at one of the local churches. Show them the game the way
it was to where it is today. I'd like to create an interest where instead
of sitting in front of the TV or computer, the kids use their imaginations
and their hands creating and painting teams, sculpting new figures,
creating leagues, building boards, learning football and having fun.

We're men (my wife argues that point LOL) having a blast with MF.
Imagine a bunch of real kids with MF.

introducing hobby to kids . . . .
 

I tried my local YMCA , it was a bust. The activities director told me they wouldn't promote it because they didn't want to be held liable for anything. I thought their job was to promote family activities ? ? ? Guess I was wrong. I am now considering seting up in a mall , say near a hobby store , and promote the hobby there. Raiderman told me that he thinks a church is a great place to start. I'm not a member of a church so I wouldn't know. Good luck !

ok fellas heres a way to get the younger cats, first strart with kids u know, first you want whatever you do to have the approval of parents, guardians, or any parties concerned, another if you have sons have the invite there buddies an have a EF/MF jam at your crib have teams where the guys or gals can draw a name of a squad and hit the field, have prizes cds jerseys whatever, and make sure the teams are blazed out facemasks, numbers names, customs, i love Regular squads but with the younger dudes thats what they gravitate to.On rules dudes K.I.S.S start small it takes time im learning that first hand, good luck guys.

for what you're trying to do! Keep pushing forward with the young people. I know your passion and your heart and I don't think it's any other new ambassador that could send the message home like yourself!

Boy Scouts is the answer
 

I am telling you guys...the Boy Scouts are the way to go...here is five good reasons why they should be the target group...

1. Right target age to start miniature football
2. Scout leaders are looking for events that they don't have to do anything and are open to having us do all the work.
3. Scouts teach teamwork and good sportsmanship...so does MF
4. You can gain interest and start an after school MF club...why should chess clubs have all the fun!
5....reason five....just look below....that says it all!

I think we need to use the MFCA as an organizational tool and have a one day event....
