Krylon Matte finish

Guys, my Krylon Matte finish turned white on one of my figures. How do I prevent this? White dots come all around.
Thanks, Michael

I've never tried the Krylon, but several of the guys here told me about Delta Ceramcoat. I've used both the clear and the matte finish and they worked well. At first, it might appear to be a little milky, but the stuff dries clear, with no visable residue. It's available at Michaels and other hobby/craft stores.

Sounds like...

too many coats Michael. You only need 1 or maybe two light coats. That will seal your work without the milky effect. Also, make sure you are not too close when spraying.

Good Experience, Bad Results

Taylor,

Always start off with Testors 1261 for your figures. Then, if you want the skintones to look more flat, use the modge Podge Matte Finish and it will work out perfectly.

Don't use testors...

waste of time and money.

Coach, it's never been a ...

waste of money for me and I have done thousands of figures for customers.

i use testors model masters

sealants and have never had problems. If you want to use the spray though put on a coat of mod podge first then spray them.
