How to exploit weakness in the defense when they over commit to stop the run via a 4-5-2, 5-5-1, defense, etcthmbsp$

Sweeps.....
 

When they over commit to the run the outside is always open for the quick pass or for the sweep. Have a good 3rd down back(Looper RB) and Lineman that can down block on the corners. I know K-Lo has them and pics of them. Hope that helps. Peace

another thing is mis-direction plays....setup formation/play to go left, but have "backside" rollout to (a) sweep to the weakside by the QB; (b) setup the 'scout-route" to compliment the bootleg...giving you someone to throw to.

"scout-route" - definded as the TE or SE to basicly run a short OUT pattern.
