MF in So Cal
So Cal has gotten a few new coaches into the MFCA lately and we are stoked!
We got the LAEFL, one of the best leagues in the country, we got Eric and Dave's Open Run, we got Eric and Dave's College Tourney, we got one of the greatest coaches to ever play the game... Mr. Peatros, we got unity, integrity, fellowship, brotherhood, we got palm trees, sunshine, ocean, mountains, desert, life is good, life is good!!!! We are gearing up for the PAC 10 CBSMF, MF out West is cranking up brothers!!!! Out here to a lot of coaches MF is almost a lifestyle, we are always on it, when we are not playing or coaching, we are working on our stuff, if we can't do that we are thinking of ways to promote, to recruit, to raise funds, etc... I got a legal pad at work on my desk, it is dedicated to MF notes and ideas that I come up with while earning a living, always on baby, always on! I have the distinct pleasure of hanging out with some of MF's greatest minds and for that I am greatful. MF is in our blood and I am diggin' it!!! lffng$ |

Hey J. I Have A Fund-raiser Campaign,that Can Uplift Our Direction. Recruit And Venue Sectors (with Banner Support) I'm A Member Of The V.f.w, And I Net Work With American Legion. These Structures ,have Veterans From The Korean Conflict,vietam, Persian Gulf, Oef,oif And The Buffaloe Soldiers. For Tech Support, I'm Net Working With Some Cinematography Students At Usc,lacc.and Trade Tech,that Are Looking For Projects For School Credit. I'm Trying To Get Them Ready By September,but We'll Have Them By 2009. The Dvd Exposure Is A Must,in My Line Of Bussiness A Picture Says A 1000 Words.also Ray And Richard Came By And Purchased A Board They Are In For The Collage Bowl,and Have Some Prospects! After The Torney,we Launch,also A Conference Between Pac Coaches Next Month,should Be Called I'll Keep All Posted,on My Progress.

Great ideas, you talked about the film students when you were at my house a few weeks ago, that is superb, great stuff. I also like the VFW thing and the fundraiser ideas. I have emailed Wolf about getting another banner made with the Open Run logo on it. Eric and Dave liked the idea. I should also buy some more of the latest LAEFL DVD to show perspective venues what the game is like, should we decide to set up and try to play somewhere.
I also need to work on a pamphlet, brouchure to hand out to the public who may see us somwwhere and show some interest. A meeting to get a game plan for 2009 is a great idea. |
I like this, we have some workers here! Shabby J, just let me know when you need DVDs to send out and how many you need and I'll get them to you. You don't have to pay for them...this is one of the main reasons that we make them...to promote and advance the hobby...and to help open doors that might otherwise be shut.
I like the brochure idea too...imagine going into a meeting with a brochure, the DVD and a copy of the Tweak...talkin' about armed and dangerous! Holla! DMC |

...the various leagues around the country are like pieces of a puzzle. The MFCA could be considered the catalyst to pull all those pieces together. If united and moving together (on most things anyway) to promote this great hobby then airtime on somebody's show is not out of the question. With leagues and big tournaments in play all we need now is the "Marketing" aspect. Gotta crawl before ya walk though and the guys out west, along with others around the country appear to be leading the way.thmbsp$
