RULES OF ENGAGEMENT!!!!! aka ROF - convention goers only need apply

Good Morning from Title Town, USA

This thread is started for those going to Canton for our MFCA Convention.

We all have a vision in mind for the non United Way action. We all have a 'type' of football we wish to scrimmage/full game by while there.

please take time out to list YOUR RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

this way, each of us has a printed copy (provided you print it out) of everyone's ROF so we don't have to spent too much time going over the bulk of each rule set, you can pick and choose where and how you want to play.

I will post my own as it's own post once I finalize it. I will be bring at least 3 or 4 teams to get my work in.......thmbsp$ thmbsp$ thmbsp$ thmbsp$

We have also gathered some of the major rules sets and Matt has put together a fantastic rulebook for all to use. We will have a number of copies around the room. They rules included in the book are The Seawall Brawl, Texas Shootout, NHFL, Miggle, Rules 2000, Buzzfest. They will be available for purchase after the convention is over.

here are mine for the weekend

weight 3.4
figures - unlimited

game play -

- FOB on running plays
- ATT on passes

- up to 3 pivots or motion (man on the line is motion and if you move a player off his axis) defense gets same; but if O does nothing, defense still gets only one.

- passing - TTQB; TDQ; passing sticks with only 12 and 18 yd stick can be used.

- QB cannot lead block on running plays

- nornal drop back distance
- coveage sack (-5 yds not where the QB is after the board has been stopped)
- ATT on the QB if he is NOT moving otherwise you must tackle him too.

- 35 second setup clock
- 10 seconds to make all pivots

FUMBLE MAN - ONE PLAYER ON DEFENSE THAT EACH COACH WILL NOTIFY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME. EVERYTIME HE MAKES A TACKLE, IT'S A FUMBLE POSSIBLILITY.
A COIN IS FLIPPED (HEADS - YES FUMBLE; TAILS - NO FUMBLE)
IF YES, COIN IS FLIPPED TO SEE WHO HAS RECOVERED (DEFENSE CALLS IN THE AIR, IF RIGHT THEY GET THE BALL - IF WRONG, BALL GOES BACK TO OFFENSE AT THE SPOT.
