Hey! The HHEFL is getting setup for our 2008 College season. Tim Young just sent me his roster for the upcoming season. He is playing with the 88' Fighting Irish...one name caught my eye...and then I thought to myself...I just played miniature football with this guy on Saturday...how cool it is to have a celebrity in our little MFCA.

Just for the record...Frank is an awesome guy...if any of you get a chance to meet him I suggest you play him...you will not find a nicer competitor!

Agree 100% We could use a boat load of Frank Jacobs in this hobby. He is a top-shelf human being, period.

Frank and I have only corresponded via pm's but you can tell just by his written words he is a good guy.thmbsp$
He is also a national Champ to boot. I remember watching the Fiesta Bowl when he played. Notre Dame is one of my favorite college teams.

After meeting Frank at the Miggle in January there was no doubt what team I was going playing with in the up coming HHEFL season. He is the top of the line guy. He has been helping me with skin tones to get my team pretty accurate. He has been a big help in many ways. I am waiting for the day we get to crack some plastic. I just hope they will do the 1988 National Champion Fighting Irish justice. ppls$ ppls$ ppls$

Hey Frank, I just sent Grunhard an email about this post. It never dawned on me till I read this that you and him played together. Grunny wanted a field for his kids last year and I never got him hooked up with one. Maybe now is the time.

Pretty sure he played minor league baseball in the Mets organization. I remember him from the early, mid 90s' with the Binghamton NY B-Mets, double A.

Too kind

I did not even see this post until Wierdwolf brought it to my attention. I can't thank you all enough for the words. However, you all have made this hobby extra special for me ,and I can't thank you enough for all the help. I never knew miniature football like this, and I absolutely love the passion in which it has developed to.

P.S. I did play minor league baseball for the AA Mets in Binghamton. I loved playing in Binghamton as we had some great memories there as well. Thanks for remembering.
