Here is my first self-painted team. I still need to put names on the jerseys. Do you guys like to paint names on, or do you prefer decalls?

Them HUSKERS look pretty good for your 1st go. I would use decals or peel and stick names and numbers personally, but do what feels natural to you. thmbsp$ ppls$ thmbsp$

I love that Tommy Frazier figure...oh boy I can't wait for college football to start! The big red machine looks great. I personally prefer decals for the names and numbers (even though I paint the helmets on my beloved MI squad). If you change your mind to do the number decals in the future you can simply paint red over the current hand painted numbers and then apply the decals, in most cases the decals add more crispness to the appearance.
