... I was watching on NFL Network the AFC Divisional Playoff from January 2006 between Pittsburgh and Indianapolis.

In a close-up shot of one of the Colts late on, I noticed something I'd never seen before about the Colts uniform.

The helmet actually has a double stripe.

Instead of just a simple blue stripe down the middle as I think it had been for many years - said stripe was actually outlined on both sides by an ultra-thin black stripe. I don't know how long this had been there, or if it's still there now.

But late on a boring Friday night, I thought it was interesting.
