My 8-year old son asked me why there are not any players with #1 on their jerseys? Are there or have their ever been any players with #1. I know that Chad Johnson wishes he was #1 but, thank he isn't.thmbsp$

i think maybe dallas' kicker in the 70's after fritch, was efrin herrera, he was number one, if im not mistaken

Gary wore 1 with the Steelers....

So did Garo Yepremian who kicked for the Dolphins...

For a while, 1 was a pretty popular kicker's number...

The only player in Packers history to wear #1 is Curly Lambeau when he was a player.

This isn't an officially retired number for them, but I doubt they'd ever issue it.

My follow up question is:

How many 00's have their been besides Jim Otto and Ken Burroughs?
