Army College Football Team in ACU-ish!!!
 

Hey guys,
I usually try to watch the Army-Navy game every year, and I am watching the game right now...I think Army's ACU-ish uniforms(black jersey with camo pants and helmet) looks pretty sharp!!!

Don't get me wrong, I like the traditional uniforms, but these ACU-ish unis are pretty cool and would be tough to paint!!!

I've only painted the ACU pattern for wargaming and nothing bigger than 20mm scale!!

Just thought I would share!

they do look good, even the numbers are camo

i think they are really neat, but would be a bit of challenge to paint. It doesn't exactly look like the ACU camo pattern, but some kind of variation of it.......

Digital Camo
 

I saw the digital camo uniform. It is really radical looking. Although I don't use decals, I think the best way to capture that uniform is to use decals for the helmets, numbers, and pants.

they both look sharp.the navy uniform have the navy anchor and the marines corp eagle globe and anchor on their uniforms. i would like to see if beenutt or mike beal can do the decals for these teams. btower06

I was working today and missed the game. I'll catch the replay Monday night at 8pm CST on CBS-Classic Sports.

At least my minis beat Navy at the MFCA Con!!! :D

I too liked those Army uniforms! (as well as Navy's)

Here they are - Navy's new unis looked sweet, but since we got spanked so badly I hereby decree that we burn our new unis and go back to the old gold!

I'll be more than happy to play the mini version anytime, anywhere! I know Matt Culp and Chris Fields are gearing up for retribution next August. Any other takers? :nhnh: :fghttt: :rnt;
