Happy Birthday Cousin
Geno, can't believe that I held you in my arms 50 years ago. Man how time flies. You don't look a day older than 60, by the way. Loved the cake, Connie did a good job on it. Guys, I remember the day that Geno was born. He was named after my dad's middle name, and was called Geno because Uncle Jr, his dad, was a Baltimore Colt fan and liked Gino Marchetti who was a tackle on the Colts. So, Geno has had football in his blood forever. My dad and Geno's dad lived almost their entire lives together. The only time that they were separated was when Uncle Jr. and my dad were in the service. Both served in WW2, my dad in the Marines in the Pacific, and Uncle Jr. in the Army, fighting in Europe, including the Battle of the Bulge. Uncle Jr. was like a second father to me, and my dad the same for Geno. I watched Geno grow up, and can't believe that he is 50.
Enjoy the day, Doug
