BOTH 3.3 and 4.0 are great categories
Just like unweighted has a standard of 2.0 figure and 1.2/1.3 base, weighted needs a standard too. Clearly 4.0 total weight has kind of a become a standard "weighted" category. Unlimited is the "other" category for the weighted.
Great points National. I personally love the 4.0 system because of the ability to push the envelope from figures to bases. In the 4.0 category you can have "athletes" on buzzball rookie bases running at the same weight as Miggle TTCs and other custom bases. Also, there is no doubt that the weight added low in the base/platform area is great for balancing the figures. After "banging" plastic with 4.0 its harder for me to want to go back to using 2.6g figures on unweighted rookie bases.
