Default WEIGHT AND FIELD SPEED.

COACHES,

Due to the various styles of play today in 2010. I think field speed is increased for player performance.

1)coaches want the players on special teams to fly down field on kick offs and get field position

2)coaches want their WR'S to slide off that DB to get seperation.

3)coaches want their loopers to fly around the corner in 1 to 1 1/2 seconds.

In order to accomplish this the board speed must be increased. When increasing board speed, a heavier figure has a better chance to stay upright than a lighter figure. When you have an electric current running under plastic pieces to help them move. Something has got to give. Dont get me wrong, some 4.0 figures will fall over but a 3.2 figure is so lights it begins to pop around on the board because it cannot handle the current. The additional weight help to balance this out. I saw weighted figures flying around the field at my first texas shootout. I did not know much about weighting when i went down there. Don hudson introduced me to weighting down a figure. My team was not that balanced but became just fine once he weight the players
