We're nowhere close to being on par with the LAEFL! Two minutes is some serious "heat" for HEFL coaches to get lined up and ready. That may be way slow for you guys, but again, we are not the LAEFL. I want to keep things competitive and for sure, NOT eliminate the fun we have. I don't want to create a "mini-LAEFL" until we get to the point where we have some 20, 30 or so coaches. When there is that level of involvement then we can step it up. I like to leave room for kids like Marky and newcomers just getting into the hobby, for example. We'll keep it "slow and simple" on purpose for now.
You may indeed completely dominate our league, which would be no fun for you. DFW is plenty competitive and that might be where to focus if you want competition. Don't get me wrong, I've been impressed with the LAEFL from its very beginning. It's a great league. I'd never survive in it personally, but I am a fan.
Now, if you want FUN, then the HEFL is your ticket. Your call either way, but really, don't be holding out hope for us to step up to the LAEFL level any time soon. I've had hours of debate with Bill Porche on that topic, who also wanted to "Los Angelesize" the HEFL. We just ain't ready fo dat up in here! LOL! Not that we can't, mind you, I just don't think there is that kind of interest as a group. I could be wrong, but I myself, don't want to be like the LAEFL in competition.
