Hey guys, I know you are a ways from setup, but I just thought I'd give you a tip about speeding up games.
In the Southeastern league, we implemented a 40 second clock. Here is how it works......
At the beginning of each play(when the board is turned on) the defense turns the clock on(set at 40 seconds). From that point the offense has 40 seconds to stop the board, and make a decision. The pass has to be off before the clock goes off. It really speeds up the game and keeps them from walking around the table forever!
Most guys in our league set up quickly, but don't make play decisions quickly. Also, we are not afraid to put a clock on a slow setup guy if we have to. It's not personal, just trying to get as many games in before we go back home to our families. Hope this helps.
