coaches wanting to come to Texas and be apart of what I do. I think K-Lo hit on something very true - the courtship.

Local coaches want you to court them just like Road Warriors. Sometime we forget, this is basically recruiting. You've got to recruit the local ones as well as the players which are from other parts of the country.

The problem with the local recruits is that they come with stipulations that you might not be feeling, i.e., "I will not play if you don't let my buddy play". That buddy may be the reason that league disenigrated in the first place!

Some guys are worth courting because you know the level of dedication they provide. They are your worker-bees. Every league needs those.

I would like to establish a league with a combination of locals and Road Warriors but I know from experience, it causes problems when you do not extend invitations to everyone. When some of those guys are quitters, you rather really not even have a league at that point.
