I actually prefer a green base over any other so I am in agreement with you on that.

Some of what I have heard from some in this discussion is a "anything goes" mentality. Limits have to be set to protect the integrity of the game. Green bases in the MPFL protects the integrity of the look and feel of that game. Size and weight limits do that also.

I like innovation! I just don't want to see us creating 2 in high figures by adding sculpey just to win. There has to be a line drawn somewhere as to how far you can go and still call it miniature football. Otherwise whats to stop me from using the new Mcfarlane 2 in high figures in a game if I can fit them on a base. Much of what we do is about scale. I really want us as a community to define a scale for what we are doing so that if someone decides that they have a better chance of winning if their figure is 5 mm higher then what is now produced we have something to control that with.
