Default Tweaking is a skill that is always needed

I rather have a great tweaked base on a poor paint job than a poor tweaked base on a great paint job. But really, it depends on the audience I think. I think you have guys who have gotten recognition as outstanding tweakers over the years. Sometimes those tweakers have to self-advertise to get the recognition they reserve.

For most, you still will not get the total respect that you may want unless you take those tweaked bases and go out and win in league play or tournament play. Heck, in the things I do, I wrestle with that same feeling of lack of respect in all that I do in the game. Somebody else does less but gets more, right? Well, if you are a tweaker and you know that your work is great, you've got to announce it to the world.

The only thing you better be careful of is that if someone thinks its bad, they will do everything in their power to slam you and spread the bad press! Some people don't get a second chance to fix their problem. It becomes an "I heard type of thing".

So if you know you are willing to take that risk, let people know. Heck, I am one of those who say be true to thine own self! Your work (or any other tweaker's work) may make a significant improvement in the game of miniature football.
