Holy Moses!
Moses clearly had his best game as a pro, throwing 10-15-1 for 138 yards and 3 touchdowns, as the Ra stunned the Werewloves, 28-21. Egypt’s head coach, Cleopatra, pulled Moses from the week’s practices, and instead sent him to Mount Sinai. Seeking help from his poor QB ratings, Moses climbed into the mountain, where he met God, who gave him the eleventh commandment, “Thou shalt not throw into double coverage” It was great advice, as Moses was a perfect 6-6 and 2 touchdowns in the first half as the Ra built a 21-7 lead.
Both defenses played tough, as neither team could do much until midway in the 4th quarter, when Akhenaten caught a short pass from Moses, and a 28-7 Ra lead. The Wolves then came alive, and Jack Nicholson’s TD run closed the gap to 28-14. The dog men then recovered the onsides kick, and a 26 yard TD catch by Oz had the Ra nervous. The Werewolves recovered another onsides kick, but an interception by Horus brought an end to the game. Nicholson had 2 TD runs on 64 yards, while Imhotep had 62 yards for Egypt. Peter Wolf was tops on defense for Weirdwolf’s team with 6 tackles and a sack, while Tefnakt was a monster for the Ra with 8 tackles.
The Ra pass defense constantly had the Wolves covered
