A total stationary figure in the middle of a field has no right being there to interrupt a receivers route or to stop a ball carrier. It's akin to running into a lamp post in the middle of the field. At least a circular safety moves on the field to some extent.
Then who is to say how close this magnet safety can be placed to the line of scrimmage to interrupt routes disgusing it's intended use a a zone or deep safety.
Also, even though there has never been a cheater in the history of EF, magnets on a field or coach's sidelines are a no-no.
Just my opinion.
