Being realistic about it, after watching this kid play since high school, I know he is competetive enough to play in the league, and he does have some ability. However, having watched, played, and coached football all my life, he just does not have the passing skills to hack it at this level
(most QB's from the south do not). At Florida everyone was open every play (see Wuerffel). This is not the '70s, where a QB could get by with a marginal arm. Just my opinion.
