Default Solitaire french conference : key point rules

Hi,

The first 2 teams are almost ready (waiting for my bases order to complete them), and I'm focusing on the rules and game system I'll play.

Keypoints of the ruleset :
  • Front of base tackling

  • Passing simulation, buzzball system, turn and burn features. the receiver can be pivoted to receive the pass, and if it's completed, he can pivot again. Defense can react and angle open athletes for interception (first stoppage) and tackle (if the pass is completed).

  • Comeback/hook pass (passing in direction of the home endzone): the stick is replaced by the following shorter one (example : if it's a blue stick pass, you use the white stick, if it's a white stick, you use the red stick, if it's a red stick, you use the red stick). Receiver then can be pivoted to follow his route to the opponent endzone.

  • No stoppage on running plays

  • No stationnary QB

  • Maximum 1 stationnary player in defense (not including 1st line of defense)

  • Game timing : 4 quarters of (not definitive number) play system with "boxes". One box = one attempt. First down = 2 boxes. Pass completed = 2 boxes. Any other case = one box. 3 timeouts for each team on each half time (1 timeout = 1 box, no matter of 1st down or pass completion).

  • No stacking allowed. At least 1/2 base width and 1/2 lenght between each athlete.

  • Dice resolved punts, fg and extra points. A 1 on dice will always be a critical failure (possible turn overs).

  • Fumble : if the ball carrier fall alone, a dice will give a possible fumble and possible turnover. If the ball carrier fall with more than 1 defense player touching his base, it's an automatic fumble.

I'll add features before the first preseason game. Tonight after work, I'll add the solitaire core system key points.
