EXTRA POINTS
Extra points are not kicked in the ECFA to save time. Two d6 are rolled and totaled. If the result is 2 through 11, the extra point is good. If the result is 12, the extra point is no good. Since there is no lining up of players for extra points, they cannot be blocked.
FIELD GOALS
A field goal may be tried anywhere inside the 50-yard line. They may be attempted on any down. Before figures are set on each side of the line of scrimmage, 2 d6 are rolled. The following chart is used to determine if the field goal can be kicked. If the roll falls outside the range below, the field goal is no good and the defending team takes possession 7 yards behind the previous line of scrimmage, where the holder would have been.
18- to 30-yard field goals: 2-11
31- to 40-yard field goals: 3-10
41- to 50-yard field goals: 4-9
51- to 60-yard field goals: 5-8
61+-yard field goals: 7
If the opportunity is allowed, the teams line up in field goal formations, with one player simulating the holder 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage, and the magnetic referee simulating the kicker, 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage. The board is run for 1.0 seconds. If any defensive player makes any base contact with the magnetic referee, the kick is blocked, and the defending team receives the ball at the spot of the kick.
Should there be no blocked kick, the magnetic referee is replaced by the TTQB, who kicks the field goal.
