I know Smitty rings the doorbell at Anthony Burgess house in (VA) on the day of the league super bowl between Burgess and Kevin Smith. I go up from the basement to answer the door, and he said "What are you doing here, man you really live up to the name NATIONAL!"
So if smitty calls me Nat'l then I'm Nat'l!!!!!!
GLEFL SB Greg H vs Ken Allen....Somebody drove 2hrs to BWI airport, parked, then caught a plane. Watched the SB, crashed at a coaches house. Got up first thing in the AM, got back on a plane, got his car out of parking, then drove back 2hrs......that's Nat'l
Flew across the country to LA to be apart of the Open Run, the first year didn't even bring a team. Just wanted to watch!!!!!!!!
It's not about winning, or even playing for that matter. It's just showing an interest and being there to support.
National is in all of us, you just have to bring it out!!!!!!!!!!! All the Md coaches playing in the NEFL.....that's Nat'l!!!!!!
