Default Amazing how most think but...

sometimes, have amnesia about how guys have acted in the past. We look past their past acts because we want them in our league. Chris Stacy hit on something that I think is very important, "Quality over quantity".

When you are in the beginning periods of having leagues, you will take any and all comers. You're just happy to have someone else interested in playing the game with you. I guess when you've seen enough and had enough bad experiences over time, your tolerance level dwindles.

People always use to think (at least here locally) that I needed them to have a league. Solitaire has shown many that I never really needed anyone to have a league as I can do and have what I want to have as far as realism is concerned. I brought people in to show them what they could have and hoped they would support what I did.

But I look at this as the final years of MF for myself and I want to spend that time enjoying the game and good friends. I would like to pass on whatever knowledge I can to those trusted friends who seek information. Styxx hits on some great things and Jeff Priest in his concise reply was right on. Character is big for me. Gosh, I know I love the competition but I also know at the end of the day, me and my friend should hold no ill will or malice. I've seen this in games and I have no time for that.

RooMorgans brings out a great attitude about playing anybody. I just hate I don't share that attitude anymore - use to! But I do still love the game and love to share it with friends but care not for the simple "notches" of beating this guy or that guy.

Thanks guys for all the responses. They are pretty much in line with my beliefs as well.
