Unless I am missing something, I do not see where the line splints are properly addressed and I see this rule as written causing confusion.

All I see is this:

(d) Offensive linemen must be ½ base "lengths" for minimum distance

So we have established their must be a space between the linemen, you are saying a half base LENGTH, is that right? One half of the LENGTH not WIDTH of a base? One half of the long side (length) vs the short side (width) of a base?

Also, what is, if any, the maximum allowable distance between linemen bases?

One more thing right off, as written below, the height (helmet) of any player can be no taller then the approximate height of the TTQB, I assume that refers to helmet to helmet comparison and not helmet to throwing arm, correct? As there are some very tall vintage players out there that someone could try to use against this rule.

3.1.2.4 The height of any player (helmet) can be no taller than the approximate height of the Triple Threat QB.

I want to clear these up for our league, so nothing is left to interpretation. I am not trying to be an idiot, I have seen MANY rule arguments as a result of people having to interpret what is written, not saying anything about the PAC10, but just what I have seen in gaming hobbies in general.

I also understand any set of rules will have "gray" areas and every possible situation can not be covered by the written word, but when it can be made black and white it needs to be.

FOB with stacking....hmmmmmm....... sounds interesting.
