Well, good question....

Te in my attack takes on several roles.....

Base = TTC with speed and relitive strength

Figures (sometimes makes a difference in execution of the play) BB-RB and F5 DB or f5-WR

TE is my edge blocker on running plays, runs the "scout route" portion of the bootleg play; chips on the OLB [looper] and can get deep if you don't cover him

Success with the TE means he can do all of those things well.......
