I prefer to play with them up, which as a passer, might surprise some folks.

But my thing is this, if they are up, they stay up. You don't want a goalpost just falling over in the middle of a play or when the board is turned up.

My other thing is, if you have a goalpost on the field at all times, then that's the one that gets used for FG/PATs, not one of the monster ones.
