Please note that if the BALL is touched only. Either the defender's hand, helmet, etc has to be touching the BALL .
And if the runner dropes the BALL.

I use repro "defensive back" figures (the dude with the outstretched arms) as inside linebackers. My Harry Carson and Sam Huff were ball-stripping masters. Next year, Short, Pierce, and Emmons will be handling those duties.
This happens often as I once forced three fumbles in one game and put one on the ground myself.
