Regardless of what rules set or system we play ... It's a game..
I think we put too much of ourselves into these "toys" to merely call it a toy, too much time, too much effort...
Painting our own teams, manipulating prongs and bases, working on figures, strategy and play.....
But then again.. Why get all wrapped up in "definitions"
A lot of people think we're all nuts for playing with little plastic men on plastic bases on a field made of sheet metal or fiberboard that vibrates..
Guess what.. I couldn't care less what they think..
I'm having fun.. I enjoy it..
But then... I don't try to make it more than it is..
It's a release and it simulates the greatest game that's ever been played.. IMO
