Hey Wierdwolf - thank you so much for the kind words !
As far as me giving camera advice.........that's a scarry thought !!
I enjoy the great pics that are taken from members of this forum - and it's an area that I'm constantly working at when trying to take closeups - I'm open to all and any advice !
I have a standard SONY Cyber-Shot.........which has a Macro Adjustment that's to be used when shooting close-ups ( just a press of a button puts it in 'Macro Mode" )...........and it seems to work best with my zoom set all the way to the "wide" side ( not zoomed-in for ex ). This allows me to get just 2 to 3" inches away from the subject. The important thing is the lighting - for these pics, I try to take them when I get the most natural light in a lighted room. The Cyber-Shot also has "Scene Selection Modes" - which you choose by turning a dial in the front of the camera - I seem to have some luck when turning the dial to, "High Sensitivity" mode ( "for shooting without flash in low-light to reduce blur." )
Yikes - I'm starting to sound like I know what I'm doing....I'm certainly not a photographer !!
Hope that helps some .........
Oh - those are "eye" decals from Mike Beal.....one sheet will last you a long time !
Thanks again -
