The officials showed a lot of poise in that clutch situation by reviewing the play, calling the administrative officials up in the office suite, and making the correct call.

I don't ever recall a field goal going through and coming back out. That was a strange play indeed.

I remember a pre-season game from 1993 (SF vs DEN) where the game-winning field goal was missed by the 49ers but the ref still called it "good" as instant replay had been revoked prior to that season.
