Fumbles in the MPFL
In the culture of MPFL fumbles are caused when a defensive's players hand, helmet or other body appendage is touching the ball when the board stops.
Learning from the one common element that in actual football that fumbles occur when someone strikes at the ball in an effort to cause a fumble we stay with that common factor.
With this any player can cause a fumble, however a fumble over rules a broken tackle, and a tackle over rules a fumble as the runner is down by contact.
To recover a fumble, any free player, ( not touching a player on the other team ) can be turned to recover the ball, recovering the ball is the same as completing a Pass Placement pass, hitting the ball with the front part of the base.
