One thing to remember... The 4.0 grams number you've read about here is base and figure combined weights. You will want to get a grams scale..

If you want to be at 4.0, and don't want to be over.. keep your figures to 2.7 grams max.. That way you can put just about any base under the figure.. (not counting boiled)

I use clear coat to put some extra weight on my figures.
